Wind-Turbines

Wind Turbines can be installed either connected to the grid or 'off-grid' by charging battery banks. On the correct site, a wind turbine can produce an annual Return on Investment of an amazing 20% per annum. Returns are guaranteed for 20 years under the new Government Feed-In-Tariff scheme, with Co2 savings per kW to match those of PV.

Installation of a Wind Turbine is a highly technical practise, and one that should only be attempted by an accredited company such as ourselves.

Design is critical to maximize the feasibility and potential return from a Wind-Turbine. Our skilled surveyors access databases to obtain the annual wind-speed before carrying out an on-site assessment. We consider numerous factors including the general site topography, incidence of turbulent wind, access, integration into the surrounding landscapes together with possible Planning requirements.

We can install a range of turbine sizes to suit almost any budget or generation requirement. Unit sizes start at 1.5kW to assist a single dwelling, and go beyond 50kW, which could generate for a large farm, commercial building or numerous domestic dwellings. Our turbines are selected from the World's leading manufacturers for their track record, reliability and value-for-money. We are Approved Installers for every turbine type offered.

Planning is required for any size of wind turbine installed in the UK, and can be a highly confusing, time-consuming and costly affair. We offer a complete planning service for our clients, which includes submission of all planning paperwork and fees including scaled drawings, CGI scaled images, checks with DEFRA and Defence Estates and design / access statements. In addition we will meet Planners on-site on your behalf and attend any represent you at any public Planning meetings.

Remember, we are Government approved to offer the new Generation Tariffs to our client's (see About Us), meaning that you could generate an annual income from your installation, and a Return On Investment of up to 15% per year, for the entire 20 year life of the Tariff scheme.
