North Wales PV Installation

Our client initially wanted a house-mounted wind-turbine. Upon survey it was clear that the property did not lend itself to a wind-turbine; wind-speed, turbulence and the property's closeness to the road were all issues.

Plans were adjusted and a PV array was recommended.

The roof was particularly difficult to work on, the property being over 200-yrs old and having a heavily deflecting roof. In addition, a solar Thermal (hot-water) system was restricting available space.

We measured out the roof and moved the existing thermal installation to the right-hand-side. The Company who installed the Thermal panels had gone into liquidation, so we gave the panel installation a new 1-yr warranty to give our client peace-of-mind.

We installed the PV array so as to 'picture-frame' the Thermal panel.
