2.8kW PV - Wirral

Our clients live on the edge of the Wirral Peninsula and benefit from a good wind-speed.

They also have a large south-facing un-shaded roof. They have a large property, growing young family and an enormous bespoke tropical aquarium, all making for substantial electricity bills. In addition, due to their concerns over stability and cost of future utility-provided electricity, they were very keen to become more self-sufficient in respect of electricity generation.

We were initially contracted to install house-mounted wind-turbines and a PV array, both of which would provide an income via the Feed-In-Tariff and reduce the electricity bill.

We submitted planning for two house mounted wind turbines, both of which were granted Planning Permission by the local Authority. In the interim delay period we had installed a 1KW PV array, which the clients were so impressed with that they placed the turbine project on hold and invested the additional money into a further 1.8kW PV array.
